The Background of the Meggen tailoring project in Namugongo
Before General Visitation of 2022 there was a question concerning how each community could be self-sufficient?
The members of Namugongo community discerned to start a tailoring project. In Order to actualize this project, we decided to write a project proposal. Fortunately, Sr. Anna Affolter the previous general councillor of Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross took interest in this project and Stiftung Solidaritat Mit del Welt accepted to help us in the beginning of 2024. The Project proposed to purchase the materials to begin and to construct the Tailoring room in Namugongo Community.
